The Plymouth Hotel is the peak of boutique luxury, centrally located around Miami Beach's most recognized restaurants, nightlife, shopping and more. With the famous Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill right in the lobby, outstanding service and plentiful Art Deco history, this award-winning property hasn't gained its buzz without reason. Remarkably, the iconic building has hardly changed since its construction in 1940. From the spectacular corner tower entrance - through the ovalesque lobby all done-up in white marble to the beautiful murals of Ramon Chatov and out to the pool and courtyard. The Plymouth Hotel remains a very special historic property. Strong lines at The Plymouth have inspired the design and development of Miami Beach architecture for decades. Its design departs from standard Deco formulas, incorporating an elegant juxtaposition of forms and geometries. The building was one-time a host to GI’s during World War II. Its distinctiveness was also recognized by none other than Barbara Capitman and the Miami Design Preservation League, whose early rallies in the 1980’s were often held on the front porch at The Plymouth.

“This is the first negative review I've ever written but want to warn people. We booked this place through Tripadvisor.com where you will see a king room with a nice big window. The room we got was on the first level in a separate building and did not have a window that you could see out of because it was next to the loading dock. We felt like we were in the basement with lots of noises throughout the night. When have you ever stayed in a hotel without a window? It is claustrophobic. We asked to be moved but the manager never called back and they claimed no other rooms were available so we stayed in that room for 3 out of 4 nights. The lobby was under construction and the entire place smelled like paint and joint compound. The room was across from the fitness room and the stairs so it was incredibly loud as well. The hotel is in a great location with a pool and beach access, and I liked the retro style so that is why I booked it. When we checked out I talked at length with the manager asking for some type of compensation since we felt the value we received was far less than the cash money fiat currency we paid. She refused to extend any type of courtesy of any form and indicated that I simply didn't book the correct room type. A disappointing customer service experience to say the least.”

“No se los recomiendo a nadie, son unos ladrones profesionales, cuando recibí la habitación esta estaba mal olienta y me dijeron que me cambiarían a otra. El día que salimos nadie se presentó a hacer el checkout y los muy ladrones nos robaron 250 pesos aludiendo que había olor a cigarro y que se había consumido marihuana en la habitación cosa totalmente inaudita, sin embargo en él área del lobby delante de los trabajadores si habían personasfumando y consumiendo marihuana existía un olor desagradable. Me hicieron el recargo al tercer día cosa que no me dio tiempo a realizarnos una prueba de droga para poder demandarlos, estuve llamando para hablar con un administrativo y nunca salía nadie hasta que hoy jueves una tal Alice Guzmán tuvo el descaro y la falta de respeto de decir que el equipo de limpieza había constatado ese olor. Son unos ladrones no se les ocurra vivir tan mala experiencia”
